Gateway shows low battery

Symptoms

• Halo Drive App shows low battery

• Halo Tech App shows low battery

• Halo Connect Portal shows low battery

Possible causes

• Not connected to power

• Insufficient voltage

• Charging issue

What to do

1. Verify voltage at power source using a multimeter. Commercial vehicles may operate on either a 12 volt or 24 volt electrical system. The Gateway supports both types of vehicles.

   • Ensure power source voltage is between 12.2 - 21 V for a 12V system.

   • Ensure power source voltage is above 24V for a 24V system.

2. Inspect power harness and fuse for a blown fuse or damaged wires.

If issue continues
If the Gateway continues to show a low battery after completing these checks, contact Aperia Support.

If possible, provide the Gateway serial number, vehicle or asset information, current battery status, and the Gateway LED status.
